Taking time to educate your builder partners is essential to a successful partnership.
Courtney Hill, is the Builder Relations Manager for the GO Mortgage Construction Lending Division. Her passion for Construction began in 2000, with her first role as an Onsite Construction Project Manager. For 10 years, Courtney was on a job site working alongside trades to organize and manage the projects. The wide variety of hands on experience, allowed her to excel with Construction knowledge of scaling/reading blue prints, completing scopes of work, project budgeting, and completion timelines for Residential/Multi-Family/Commercial Construction. Using the advantage, of the knowledge gained while on the field, Courtney also managed her own business in Real Estate, and Investment properties. Buying homes and using a Team of trades to renovate and sell or manage as Investment Real Estate. In 2012, Courtney slowed her work pace of being on the road 24/7 to find a more even balance of work and Family. Although, she slowed the pace of being on the road, her high energy, self-motivating, contagious spirit, did not miss a beat. Stepping onto the Mortgage scene, allowed her personality to shine, while continuing to soak in Mortgage knowledge. The perfect storm was created when she was presented with the opportunity to work with Builders directly, while still in the Mortgage Industry. Construction Lending quickly became her niche. The power of Construction knowledge, while working in the Mortgage industry, was a bonus when talking to Builders directly about Home Loans. Breaking down the stigma of “Bankers/Lenders” with Builders, has allowed Courtney the power to continuously expand her Builder Relationships. These days, you can often find Courtney in front of a camera, using social media to network and grow business… still going, and going, and going!
